The ShipNet Liner Solution provides a fully integrated platform for the commercial, operational and financial departments of Liner Operators and supports Containers, LCL, Breakbulk, Unitised Cargo and Ro-Ro.

It is common knowledge that if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Designed for the Liner Business the Liner Budgeting / forecasting solution allows you to create a plan for each trade rotation. Taking into account revenue guidelines, vessel-, equipment- and port cost you will be able to ascertain what needs to be done to optimize your capacity.

The Time Charter Module allows you to manage chartered tonnage and allocate hire cost to each voyage.

The Liner Management Solution encompasses all Liner Agency functionality. On an an ongoing basis, consolidate Quotations, Bookings, Documentation and Equipment information from all agents/offices using either EDI or fully secured online access. Set Allocations and monitor booking progress against them. Consolidated manifests provide a single point of reference for all parties involved and correctors are monitored closely. Exception reports analyse discrepancies between agreed and actual rates. Optimise your equipment fleet and monitor turnaround times. Actual performance is updated against the budget.

Receive electronic disbursements from agents and update the Financial Management System. Full integration back to the Budgeting / forecasting solution allows you to compare actual performance against the budget and make educated adjustments.

	Voyage Management
	Voyage Management is supported from annual budgeting through to capturing individual Bill of Lading details. Specifically designed to improve efficiency in Line Management and Financial functions, the system provides Cross-Reference Reports to ascertain where details deviate from the agreements. The built-in Liner Agency functionality enables Agents and Offices to produce their documents efficiently.
	Time Charter Management
	Charter Hire represents a key cost and in conjunction with the operational information from port agents, the pro-rata hire cost must be allocated to each voyage and worked back in the budget. Should vessels be hire out, it is important that the agreements are well documented that a hire invoice produced.
	Disbursement Accounting
	Processing Agents' disbursements accounts is traditionally a tedious and labour intensive exercise for both Line and Agent. Details need to be checked against estimates and agreements. Providing either online access or a sophisticated MS Excel™ spreadsheet which can be imported, makes light work of the process on both sides.
	Equipment Control
	Managing a fleet of equipment is a challenge in its own right. The input from the agents ensures that the stock position is up-to-date. This can be optimised with the use of automatic EDI updates. Cost savings can be achieved by reducing the container idle time and if containers are idle at consignee or other responsible parties it is important to recover the correct demurrage/detention. Lease Contract Management including Pick-up and Drop-off management and Lease invoice control is topped off with the ability to generate invoices for sub-leased containers.
	Repair & Maintenance
	An extension of the Equipment Control module the R&M module allows you to record repair estimates efficiently using templates. The templates may include all agreed prices and as a result the estimates are checked as they are recorded. Various reports and online queries provide the tools to analyse repair patterns.
